A Digital Exhibit of Casablanca Through the Years ...

To learn more about Casablanca's contribution to the development of the steelband movement, see the online exhibit "From Oil Drum to Musical Instrument:  Perspectives from the Casablanca Steel Orchestra (Trinidad and Tobago, 1930s-1980)."  This exhibit includes photographs and audio clips of band members describing the historical significance of Casablanca from the 1940s through to 1980.
Casablanca is one of the foundation steelbands of  Trinidad and Tobago.  Founded as Merry Boys in 1938, it emerged as the Casablanca Steelband Orchestra in 1945.
